X-Writer

AI Product

Soulflick AI — a cinema research and X-strategy workstation that runs a whole grounded research-to-draft pipeline in a single model request.

The idea

X-Writer (Soulflick AI) is a personal research, trend-intelligence and writing workstation for cinema commentary on X. One action takes it from web-grounded trend discovery through topic scoring, angle synthesis and fact verification to finished post drafts in several voices.

AI writing tools burn a request on every keystroke and hallucinate engagement numbers to sound authoritative. X-Writer was built around the opposite constraint: one grounded request per research run, and everything after that computed locally and deterministically.

What I built

  • A strict single-request pipeline: web search, trend discovery, topic scoring, angle synthesis, public-conversation reading, fact verification, four persona drafts, hashtags, visual-asset strategy and a quality audit, all inside one grounded call.
  • Zero follow-up model calls — switching between Primary, Smart, Spicy and Emotional variants, thread splitting, character counting, fact inspection, saving and diagnostics all run locally.
  • Grounded discovery of indexed public discussion and trade publications instead of scraping X or Reddit APIs directly.
  • Clear separation between direct sources, search-indexed sources and model inference, with no fabricated follower or engagement figures.
  • A deterministic local analytics engine computing engagement rate, follower conversion and hook efficiency, plus rule-based “why this worked” diagnostics at zero AI cost.
  • Supabase Postgres with row-level security, Supabase Auth and Edge Functions across profiles, preferences, style profiles, reference posts, research runs, sources, topics, drafts and metrics.

How it works

An obsidian-and-charcoal workstation with amber film accents: a single prompt bar, tone and market controls inline, and results that expand into inspectable sources. It reads like a film editing suite rather than a chat window.
